The attorney general released a statement warning residents of Nebraska to beware of calls from so-called payday loan companies attempting to collect debts for delinquent payday loans.
There have been many recent cases in which calls were placed to Nebraska residents claiming to be debt collection agencies or payday loan companies attempting to collect on overdue accounts.
