Police Investigate Road Rage Incident in Wheaton
Montgomery County Police 4th District Investigative Section is investigating a road rage incident where the suspect fired several shots at the victim.
On August 2, at approximately 6:45 a.m., a 62 year-old women from Gaithersburg was driving on a side street near the intersection of the 2700 block University Boulevard and Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. The victim was forced to abruptly break for a black pickup truck stopped in the roadway. As the victim maneuvered around the truck the driver fired several shots from a handgun at the victim. The victim was not injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being a Hispanic male, driving a black pickup truck.
