Police Seek Help Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 5th/6th District Investigative Section are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in Gaithersburg. The Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division - Pedophile Section is also investigating an assault of a 12-year-old boy in which the same suspect is believed to be responsible.
On July 27 at approximately 2:45 p.m., at the movie theater located in the Rio Mall located at 9811 Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg, a 20-year-old man from Germantown was in the bathroom when he was inappropriately touched by the suspect. On July 18 at approximately 3:00 p.m., at the McDonald’s located at 12982 Middlebrook Road in Germantown, a 12-year-old boy from Germantown was in the bathroom when he was touched inappropriately by the suspect.
In the incident at the Rio Mall the suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 22 years old, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, weighing between 185 and 200 pounds, with brown ...more
