Montgomery County Commuter Services Wins Regional Award; Local Employers Also Honored

Montgomery County’s Commuter Services was honored for the second year in a row by Commuter Connections for achieving the highest levels of business participation in the Washington region. Two Montgomery County employers were also honored by Commuter Connections for the outstanding commuter benefits they offer their employees who use transit, vanpools, carpools, or bicycles, or telework. Commuter Connections is a program of the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. The 10th annual Employer Recognition Awards ceremony was held at the National Press Club in June.
