Leggett Announces New Appointments; Department Heads Named for Economic Development,

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett today announced his selections to head three County departments – Economic Development, Finance, and Recreation. At a news conference in the Executive Office Building in Rockville, Leggett introduced the following slate of appointees, saying they “exemplified the kind of experienced, forward-thinking, responsive administrators who can help us move forward and make what’s good even better. I’m pleased to welcome them to my management team.”
Department of Economic Development (DED) Director -- Pradeep Ganguly
For nine years, Pradeep Ganguly served as chief economist and director of the Office of Business and Economic Research with the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. His duties included serving as chief economic spokesperson for the department and as chief analyst of major incentive/investment projects.
