Quince Orchard Library to Host Session On County's Clean Energy Rewards Program
Residents can learn how to make the switch to cleaner energy and earn rewards through the County’s Clean Energy Rewards program during a session to be held at the Quince Orchard Library on January 17, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Quince Orchard Library is located at 15831 Quince Orchard Rd. in Gaithersburg.
Susan Kirby of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection will explain the new program that helps county residents and businesses afford clean energy. Residents who choose to purchase electricity from a program-eligible energy supplier can receive rewards that will offset about 40 percent of the additional cost of clean energy.
