Police Seek Help in Locating Missing Howard County Man Updated Information The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Howard County, whose car was located on the Brighton Dam Bridge on Brighton Dam Road this morning. At approximately 5:30 a.m. this morning, the vehicle of Kahorne Tory Green (“Tory”) was located unoccupied on Brighton Dam Bridge in Brookeville. Montgomery County Police have received information that indicates Green may want to harm himself. There is no indication of foul play at this time. Kahorne Tory Green (“Tory”), age 24, is described as an African-American male with a medium complexion. Green is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has no facial hair. No photo is available at this time. After Green’s vehicle was located, Montgomery County Fire/Rescue responded to the area and completed a search of Triadelphia Reservoir but did not locate the individual. Montgomery County K9s were also called to the area. Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) investigators were on scene and are assisting with the investigation. The Howard County Police Department has been informed of the situation. Anyone with information on Kahorne Green is asked to call the Montgomery County Police at 240-773-5070. Update Update Update Update Missing Howard County Man Found Deceased On August 16, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the vehicle of Kharon Hatorai Greene (“Torey”) was located unoccupied on Brighton Dam Bridge in Brookeville. On August 24, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a WSSC worker located a body floating in the water of Brighton Dam. Montgomery County Fire/Rescue, Howard County Fire/Rescue, and MCP recovered the body. The body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for identification to be made. Yesterday, MCP was notified by the Medical Examiner that the body was identified as Kharon Hatorai Greene. At this time, the cause of Greene’s death is still to be determined. The police department and Greene’s family thank the media and the community for publicizing this missing person case. |
