Leggett and Inspector General to Announcet Establishment of Fraud Hotline

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join Montgomery County Inspector General Thomas J. Dagley and Montgomery County Councilmember Phil Andrews in announcing the start of a new, independent Fraud Hotline, part of the County’s ongoing commitment to prevent and detect waste, fraud and abuse in government operations.

In 1997, Leggett authored the legislation when he was a Councilmember that created the position of Inspector General to improve government efficiency and effectiveness.
