J1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred at Woodwell Road and Alderton Road, Aspen Hill on Monday, 6/11 at 6:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and removed property.
Suspects: 3 black males.

• A robbery occurred on Redgate Drive, Colesville on Thursday, 6/7 at 5:30 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
Arrested: Male, 16, from Silver Spring.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in front of Blake High School, 300 Norwood Road, Silver Spring on Friday, 6/8 at 12:00 noon. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Suspects: 3 black males.

• An aggravated assault occurred at Spencerville Park, 1501 Good Hope Road, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 6/6 at 6:30 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and was arrested.
Arrested: Male, 33, from Washington DC.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 21900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Brookeville overnight from Sunday, 6/10 to Monday, 6/11. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Locksley Court, Silver Spring on Friday, 6/8 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:37 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12700 block of Layhill Road, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 5/30 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.


J2 Beat:

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred on different days and in different areas in this Aspen Hill beat. Most vehicles were unlocked but three were entered by force. A variety of loose property, mostly coins, cash, and debit cards, were taken. Affected streets included: the 4500 block of Olney Laytonsville Road, 3700 block of Bel Pre Road, 14500 block of Homecrest Road and the 14900 block of Habersham Circle.


K1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road, Aspen Hill on Tuesday, 6/5 at 9:49 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2400 block of Sun Valley Circle, Aspen Hill overnight from Monday, 6/11 to Tuesday, 6/12. Unforced entry; unknown whether anything was taken.


K2 Beat:

• No significant events occurred during this reporting period.


L1 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred at Bluhill Road and Clay Street, Wheaton on Wednesday, 6/6 at 2:45 p.m. The suspects displayed a weapon and obtained property.
Suspects: 3 black males, 18 -19, crew cuts

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2300 block of Jones Lane, Silver Spring on the morning of Tuesday, 6/5. Unknown means of entry; nothing taken.
Arrested: Male, 17, from Wheaton.


L2 Beat:

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 2300 block of Arcola Avenue, Silver Spring on Saturday, 6/9 at 6:07 p.m.
Arrested: Male, 14, from Wheaton; Male, 16, from Wheaton; Male, 13, from Wheaton; Male, 15, from Wheaton.
