African American Health Program Offers Diabetes Education

Take advantage of classes accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.  The purpose of these classes is to decrease the incidence of complications from diabetes in Montgomery County’s African American community. The classes are open to all in the community and deliver 12 hours of diabetes education provided by registered dietitians and nurses.  The next class takes place from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Thursdays June 7, 14, 21 and 28 at Victory Christian Church, 7-7 Metropolitan Ct, Gaithersburg. Dinner is served and costs $5.00 for Montgomery County residents. To register, call Diane at 301-421-5767.
