D1 Beat: A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Oxford Street, North Bethesda on Saturday, 5/12 at approximately 9:15 p.m. No forced entry; nothing taken. Arrested: Male, 26, from Gaithersburg. A residential burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Coquelin Terrace in Chevy Chase on Wednesday 5/2 at 4:30 a.m. No forced entry; nothing taken. D2 Beat: Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred during the overnight hours on several days during the week in this Bethesda beat. Six parked vehicles were entered and cash and other loose items were taken. Five of the vehicles had been left unsecured; the sixth was entered by force. Affected streets included: the 4600 block of S. Chelsea Lane, 4400 block of Highland Avenue, 4300 block of Kentbury Drive, 7900 block of Old Georgetown Road, 4300 block of Rosedale Avenue and the 7100 block of 44th Street. D3 Beat: Three residential garage burglaries occurred in this Silver Spring beat, one during the daytime on Tuesday, 5/8; two during the evening (between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) on the same day.
A residential burglary occurred in the 9700 block of W. Bexhill Drive, Kensington sometime between Saturday, 5/12 and Sunday, 5/13. Unforced entry; property taken. A construction site theft occurred in the 8800 block of Monard Drive, Silver Spring sometime between Tuesday, 5/8 and Thursday, 5/10. Unforced entry, property taken. E1 Beat: Multiple residential burglaries occurred during the period between 4/30 and 5/10 in this Bethesda beat. Forced entry; property taken. The incidents occurred in the 5100 block of Saratoga Avenue, 4900 block of Greenway Drive, 4900 block of Little Falls Drive, the 5200 block of Westport Road, the 5000 block of Keokuk Street and the 5000 block of Brookdale Road. Arrested: Male, 14, from Bethesda. An attempted commercial burglary occurred at Anglo Dutch Pool & Toy, 5460 Westbard Avenue in Bethesda on Friday 5/4 at 9:30 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken. A commercial burglary occurred at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 7009 Wilson Lane in Bethesda, sometime between the afternoon of Friday 5/4 and the morning of Saturday 5/5. No forced entry; nothing taken. A residential burglary occurred in the 5300 block of Willard Avenue, Bethesda sometime between Friday, 5/11 and Saturday, 5/12. Forced entry; property taken. A theft from a vehicle occurred overnight from Thursday, 5/10 to Friday, 5/11 in the 6400 block of Elmwood Road, Chevy Chase. No signs of forced entry; property taken. E2 Beat: A residential burglary occurred in the 7100 block of Armat Drive in Bethesda on Wednesday 5/2 between noon and 3:30 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken. A residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Pooks Hill Rd in Bethesda on Saturday 5/5 at approximately 3:30 a.m. No forced entry; nothing taken. Arrested: Male, age 26, from Manassas. A residential burglary occurred in the 8500 block of Wilson Lane, Bethesda on Sunday, 5/13 between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken. E3 Beat: A commercial office burglary occurred at NIH, 6011 Executive Boulevard, Rockville over the weekend between Friday, 5/11 and Monday, 5/14. Unforced entry; property taken. A commercial burglary occurred at Gold Paradise in the Westfield Mall, 7101 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda on Saturday, 5/12. Unforced entry; property taken. E4 Beat: An attempted residential garage burglary occurred in the 10800 block of Kenilworth Avenue, Garrett Park on Tuesday, 5/8 at 4:00 p.m. Unforced entry; event interrupted by resident; suspect fled; nothing taken. Suspect: B/M, 17, 511-6, 160 lbs. A residential burglary occurred in the 10400 block of Grosvenor Place, Rockville in the early morning hours of Wednesday, 5/9. Unknown means of entry; property taken. A theft occurred on a train at the White Flint Metro in Rockville on Wednesday, 5/9 at approximately 6:00 a.m. The suspect grabbed property from the victim and fled. |
