H1 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred in the 9300 block of Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/10 at 11:15 p.m. Two suspects approached the adult male and female victims. The first suspect produced a gun; then the second suspect produced a knife, knocked the male victim to the ground and pointed the gun at his head. The suspects fled after retrieving the victims’ purse, cell phones and cash.
Suspects: (2) H/M’s, wearing masks, dark clothing.

• A strong arm robbery occurred in the 9300 block of Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 5/9 at 9:31 p.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.
Suspect: B/M, 20-22 years, 5’8” to 5’10”, 165-175 lbs.


H2 Beat:

• A sexual assault occurred in the 1600 block of Neely Road, Silver Spring on Saturday, 5/12 at 11:30 a.m. The suspect in appropriately touched the victim and was arrested.
Arrested: Male, age 57, from Silver Spring.


I1 Beat:

• No significant activity.


I2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard, Silver Spring on Monday, 5/14 at 11:48 a.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown if anything was taken.

• A residential garage burglary occurred between 2:45 p.m. on Friday, 5/11 and 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, 5/12 in the 14500 block of Fairdale Road, Silver Spring. Unknown means of entry; property removed.

• A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 5/11 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of Robey Terrace, Silver Spring. Forced entry; property taken.
