J1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 16700 block of Alexander Manor Drive, Sandy Spring on Tuesday, 5/8 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Forced entry.
Arrested: Male, age 19, from Ashton.


J2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 3600 block of Martins Dairy Circle, Olney on Thursday, 5/10. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, age 23, from Olney.

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Glory Worship Center, 4021 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville between Saturday, 5/12 at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, 5/13 at 9:00 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 4000 block of Cherry Valley Drive, Olney on Monday, 5/14 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:53 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• An attempted residential garage burglary occurred in the 3800 block of Park Lake Drive, Rockville on Monday, 5/7 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:13 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.


K1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in front of Argyle Middle School, 2400 Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/11 at 5:15 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Arrested: Male, age 16, from Silver Spring; Male, age 15, from Spencerville; Male, age 17, from Silver Spring.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14000 block of Burning Bush Lane, Aspen Hill on Friday, 5/11 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 14100 block of Blazer Lane, Aspen Hill on Monday, 5/14 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.


K2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 12800 block of Dean Road, Wheaton on Sunday, 5/13 at 12:20 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, age 27, from Wheaton.

• An armed robbery occurred in the 13000 block of Daley Street, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 5/15 at 10:45 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property.
Arrested: Male, age 18, from Wheaton.

• A commercial burglary occurred at Manor Country Club, 14901 Carrolton Road, Rockville overnight from Wednesday, 5/9 to Thursday, 5/10. Forced entry; property taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 2900 block of Randolph Road, Wheaton on Friday, 5/11 between 6:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Leverton Street, Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/10 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. Forced entry.
Arrested: Male, age 35, from Silver Spring.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 5500 block of Burnside Drive, Aspen Hill on Monday, 5/7. The suspect is known to the victim and the incident is domestic in nature.


L1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 1600 block of McMahon Road, Wheaton on Monday, 5/7 before 5:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 3400 block of Pendleton Drive, Silver Spring on Saturday, 5/12 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:14 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Hillsboro Drive, Silver Spring on Saturday, 5/12. The suspect is known to the victim.

• A peeping tom incident occurred in the 2600 block of Harris Avenue, Wheaton on Tuesday, 5/8 at 9:40 p.m. The suspect was watching the victim through a window.


L2 Beat:

• A bank robbery occurred at Capital One Bank, 2801 University Boulevard, Kensington on Tuesday, 5/15 at 9:09 a.m. The suspect obtained property and fled.
Suspect: black male, 30-40, 6’ – 6’02”, 180 – 200 lbs, and a stocking over his face.

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 2300 block of Blueridge Avenue, Wheaton on Wednesday, 5/9 at 4:15 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, 17, from Wheaton.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Whitehall Street, Silver Spring between Thursday, 5/10 and Monday, 5/14. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.

• Three attempted residential burglaries were reported in the 2100 block of Little Sorrel Way, Wheaton:
  • Between Thursday, 5/3 and Thursday, 5/10. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • On Wednesday, 5/9 between 9:00 a.m. and 10:26 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • On Wednesday, 5/9 between 9:00 and a.m. 10:26 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.
• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 10900 block of Breewood Road, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 5/9 at 9:34 a.m.
