A1 Beat:

• A theft occurred at the Giant, 12051 Rockville Pike, Rockville on Thursday, 4/12 between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Property was taken from the victim.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, 4/11 in the 5500 block of Wilkins Court, North Bethesda. Vehicle parts were taken in both incidents.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Saturday, 4/14 to Sunday, 4/15 in the 4300 block of Ferrara Drive, Silver Spring. Forced entry; GPS unit taken.


A2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 5900 block of Lemay Road, Rockville on Saturday, 4/14 at 11:00 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, 27 yrs. old, from Silver Spring.

• A shed burglary occurred in the 5900 block of Holland Road, Rockville between 7:00 p.m. on Monday, 4/9 and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 4/10. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 1200 block of 1st Street, Rockville between 8:00 p.m. on Monday, 4/16 and 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, 4/17.


A3 Beat:

• A robbery occurred on Monday, 4/16 at 8:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Reading Avenue, Rockville. Property was forcefully removed from the victim.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Ivy League Lane, Rockville on Monday, 4/16 at 1:35 a.m. Unknown entry; property taken.
Arrested: Male, 52 yrs. old, of an unknown address.

• A commercial burglary occurred at an unknown business in 50 W. Montgomery Avenue, Rockville between Friday, 4/13 and Monday, 4/16. Unknown means of entry; property taken.

• Graffiti was drawn on the sidewalk and speed bumps in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue, Rockville between 10:00 p.m. on Monday, 4/9 and 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 4/10.


A4 Beat:

• An aggravated assault was committed by an adult male’s girlfriend in the 7200 block of Mill Run Drive, Derwood on Sunday, 4/15 between 8:35 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Needwood Road, Derwood on Monday, 4/16 between 1:39 p.m. and 2:12 p.m. Unknown method of entry. Property was taken.

• Two garage burglaries occurred in King Farm, Rockville this week. Both had open doors.

• On Tuesday, 4/17 between 8:35 p.m. and 8:52 p.m. in the 300 block of Watkins Pond Boulevard.
  
• Between Tuesday, 4/17 and Wednesday, 4/18 in the 600 block of Elmcroft Boulevard. Unknown whether anything was taken.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn, 16001 Shady Grove Road, Rockville between 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, 4/14 and 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, 4/15. Vehicle parts and items from inside vehicles taken.


B1 Beat:

• No activity to report.


B2 Beat:

• A carjacking occurred at Shady Grove Road and Route 270 in Rockville on Wednesday, 4/18 between 12:05 a.m. and 1:12 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim, a cab driver, with a weapon and obtained the vehicle. He was arrested.
Arrested: Male, 27 yrs. old, from Washington, DC.

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 11800 block of Coldstream Drive, Rockville on Monday, 4/16 between 1:30 a.m. and 3:28 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.


B3 Beat:

• A theft from a vehicle occurred at Clewerwall Drive & River Road, Potomac on Monday, 4/9 at 2:10 p.m. Unknown entry; property from inside the vehicle taken.


B4 Beat:

• An armed robbery/aggravated assault occurred at Jones Lane & Carry Back Drive, North Potomac on Saturday, 4/14 between 12:20 a.m. and 3:12 a.m. This incident was detailed in a press release.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12300 block of Piney Glen Lane, North Potomac between Friday, 4/13 and Sunday, 4/15. Unknown entry; nothing taken.
