A1 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred at the Cricket Wireless store, 12206 Veirs Mill Road, Silver Spring on Friday, 3/23 at 4:50 p.m. Suspect displayed a weapon and obtained property.
Suspect: W/M, 18-22 yrs. old, 5’10”-6’2”, black bandana, black hooded sweatshirt

• A shed burglary occurred at the White Flint Children’s House, 11810 Parklawn Drive, North Bethesda between 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 3/20 and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 3/21.
Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Idlewood Road, Silver Spring between 6:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Thursday, 3/22. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 4300 block of Emden Street, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 3/27 at 4:58 p.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 11900 block of Parklawn Drive, Silver Spring between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, 3/22 and 7:00 a.m. on Friday, 3/23.

• A sexual assault occurred in the 1900 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville near the BP Gas Station on Wednesday, 3/21 at midnight. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim.
Suspect: H/M, 20-25 yrs. old, 5’5”-5’7”, 170-190 lbs., blue shirt & jeans, white shoes.


A2 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Tomatillo Mexican Grill, 2232 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville on Friday, 3/23 at 6:41 a.m. Forced entry, nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 5600 block of Dowgate Court, Rockville on Friday, 3/23 between 12:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary/vandalism incident occurred in the 1000 block of Crawford Drive, Rockville between 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, 3/24 and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, 3/25. Forced entry; property taken.

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Thursday, 3/22 and Friday, 3/23 in this Rockville beat. All three had forced entry.

• Between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the 5100 block of Trailway Drive. Took a laptop bag, checkbooks.
• Between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in the 15100 block of Manor Lake Drive. Took a carry bag and an external hard drive.
• Between 10:30 p.m. and 7:41 a.m. in the 5200 block of Waterview Drive. Took a wallet.

• Graffiti was written on a retaining wall in the 13300 block of Midway Avenue, Rockville between 12:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Thursday, 3/22.

• A peeping tom incident occurred in the 500 block of Calvin Lane, Rockville on Sunday, 3/25 at 10:00 p.m. Suspect was walking with a small brown & white dog around the victim’s residence, looking into the windows.
Suspect: W/M, 24-26 yrs. old, 5’10”-5’11”, 150-160 lbs., unshaven, short brown hair.


A3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 700 block of Grandin Avenue, Rockville between 12:00 p.m. on Monday, 3/19 and 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, 3/22. Unforced entry; nothing taken.

• Graffiti was discovered at Croyden Park, 401 S. Horners Lane, Rockville on Tuesday, 3/27 at 9:57 a.m.


A4 Beat:

• An attempted robbery occurred in the 15800 block of Frederick Road, Rockville on Friday, 3/23 at 7:30 p.m. The suspects attempted to obtain property from the victim, but were unsuccessful.
Suspect: H/M, 14-15 yrs. old, 5’5”-5’6”, 125-135 lbs., black T-shirt & shorts;
Suspect: H/M, 14-15 yrs. old, 5’6”-5’7”, 130-140 lbs., black T-shirt & shorts.

• An aggravated assault occurred at the Red Roof Inn, 16001 Shady Grove Road, Rockville on Sunday, 3/25 at 9:50 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, 22 yrs. old, from Gaithersburg.


B1 Beat:

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Halpine Road, Rockville on Thursday, 3/22 at 11:30 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.


B2 Beat:

• There were no significant events in the beat this week.


B3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10400 block of Great Arbor Drive, Rockville between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, 3/25. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 8600 bock of Timber Hill Lane, Rockville on Thursday, 3/22 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.
