Assault

• Intersection of Grant Ave., and Holly Ave., on Monday, March 26 at 12:57 p.m., officers responded to an assault that occurred earlier. Unknown suspects approached a student walking home from school and assaulted him. The victim did not suffer any injuries.
  
  
• 7000 blk. of Carroll Ave., on Sunday, March 25 at 6:59 p.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. An unknown female suspect assaulted a male victim after the victim confronted her for littering. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Ward 2:

Larceny

• 7500 blk. of Jackson Ave., on Wednesday, March 28 at 11:20 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspects stole the victim’s roof rack from a vehicle.

Assault

• 7700 blk. of Carroll Ave., on Friday, March 23 at 12:43 a.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A known male suspect assaulted a female victim during an argument that turned physical. The male suspect fled the scene before units arrived.

Larceny from Auto

• 6400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Sunday, March 25 at 12:25 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) pulled alongside the female victims’ vehicle as the victim pumped gas, opened an unlocked car door, and stole the victims’ purse before feeling.

• 7600 blk. of Piney Branch Rd., on Wednesday, March 28 at 5:19 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle.
