Olney Theatre Center Receives 7 Helen Hayes Award Nominations
| | | |  |  |  |  | | ... On Monday evening, theatreWashington announced the nominations for the 2012 Helen Hayes Awards at the National Theatre. In addition to Olney Theatre Center's The Sound of Music being nominated for Outstanding Resident Musical, Olney Theatre Center received the following nominations:
- Christopher Youstra, Nominated for Outstanding Musical Direction, Resident Production for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
- Tracy Lynn Olivera, Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress, Resident Musical for The Sound of Music
- Bobby Smith, Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor, Resident Musical for The Sound of Music
- Jessica Lauren Ball, Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress, Resident Musical for The Sound of Music
- Alan Wiggins, Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor, Resident Musical for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
- The Sound of Music, Nominated for Outstanding Ensemble, Resident Musical
