Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing 19-year-old woman.

Alexis Alston, of the 2600 block of Blueridge Avenue in Wheaton, was last seen at her residence on Wednesday, February 22 at approximately 10:30 p.m. She is believed to be on foot, but is familiar with public transportation.

Ms. Alston is described as an African-American female, 5’4” tall, and weighing 120 pounds. She is “non-verbal”, suffers from several medical conditions and walks with a limp. Her clothing description is unknown.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare because Ms. Alston also has a diminished mental capacity.

Anyone with information regarding Ms. Alston’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.

Woman Missing from Wheaton Located

Alexis Alston, 19 years old, last seen in the 2600 block of Blueridge Avenue in Wheaton, has been located safe and unharmed.

Police and family thank the public, media outlets, and local listservs for publicizing this missing persons case.
