Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing 19-year-old woman.
Alexis Alston, of the 2600 block of Blueridge Avenue in Wheaton, was last seen at her residence on Wednesday, February 22 at approximately 10:30 p.m. She is believed to be on foot, but is familiar with public transportation.
Ms. Alston is described as an
African-American female, 5’4” tall, and weighing 120 pounds. She is “non-verbal”, suffers from several medical conditions and walks with a limp. Her clothing description is unknown.
Family and police are concerned for her welfare because Ms. Alston also has a diminished mental capacity.
