The suspect is identified as Ramon Michael Gunn, age 25, of the 11400 block of Rockville Pike in North Bethesda. During questioning, Gunn admitted to committing two commercial robberies in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg on January 18 and January 30. Criminal charges in these two cases are forthcoming. Detectives continue to investigate whether Gunn is responsible for additional, recent commercial robberies in the county.

In the course of investigation, officers developed Gunn as a possible suspect in recent, commercial robberies in the county. During police surveillance of Gunn, it was determined that he had committed a robbery on February 18 at approximately 10:45 p.m. at the Night Dreams store located at 11550 (F) Rockville Pike. Investigation revealed that Gunn had walked into the store, presented what appeared to be a handgun to the employees, and demanded and received cash. Upon arrest, officers located the cash proceeds from the business on Gunn’s person and a search of Gunn’s vehicle revealed a black pellet gun and a black mask.

After questioning, Gunn was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Center and was charged with one count of armed robbery for the Night Dreams robbery. Gunn faces additional charges for the O’Hair Salon and Salon G Robberies.
