Events   Feb. 16-23, 2012 'Change Gon' Come' Celebrates Black History The Finest! Performance Troupe presents an original scripted work, "A Change Gon' Come," about the life and struggle of Harriet Tubman Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, 603 Edmonston Drive. Capture Rockville in Pictures The City of Rockville is sponsoring an Environmental Photo Contest. Submit up to three photos, taken in the city limits of Rockville, that capture what it is you value about Rockville's environment. The deadline is Monday, March 26. The winners will be announced on Monday, April 30. Register for Rockville's Student Art Show   Submissions for the annual Rockville Student Art Show exhibit opening will be accepted from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Glenview Mansion, 603 Edmonston Drive. The exhibit is open to all students in grades four through 12 who live or attend school in the City of Rockville. Opening reception will be held March 4.  City Hall to Close for Presidents Day  Rockville City Hall will be closed for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 20, and several Rockville facilities and programs will operate on a limited schedule. Recycling and refuse will be collected as scheduled. Parking fees at City-owned meters will be suspended on Presidents Day. Spring is Near; Gardening Questions Answers Brett McNish, Smithsonian Gardens Supervisory Horticulturist, offers tips for your spring garden preparation from proper pruning techniques to determining the right equipment for the job at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, to the Croydon Creek Nature Center, 852 Avery Road. Bring your gardening questions. Free. 'Die Fledermaus' Entertains at F. Scott Victorian Lyric Opera Company performs "Die Fledermaus," where everything old is new again with love affairs, betrayal, deception and a battle of the sexes. Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 24 and March 2, and Saturdays, Feb. 25 and March 3, and Sundays, Feb. 26 and March 4 at 2 p.m. at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre.
