G1 Beat: • A robbery occurred in the 1100 block of Fidler Lane, Silver Spring on Monday, 2/6 at 5:50 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property. Arrested: Male, age 18, from Silver Spring; Male, unknown age, from Silver Spring; • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 800 block of Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring on Monday, 2/6 at 10:30 a.m. The suspect attempted to forcefully remove property from the victim, but was unsuccessful. Suspect: B/M, 30-40 years, 5’5” wearing a grey “hoodie” and blue pants. • A robbery occurred in the 7600 block of Eastern Avenue, Silver Spring on Friday, 2/3 at 1:16 a.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and removed property. Suspects: (2) B/M’s, 22-27 years, 5’8 150 lbs, dreadlocks, one suspect wore a black cargo jacket and jeans, the second suspect wore a grey fleece coat and red and black shoes. • An attempted robbery occurred in the 500 block of Thayer Avenue, Silver Spring on Friday, 2/3 at 2:00 a.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and attempted to remove property. Suspects: (3) B/M’s, 20-25 years, one wearing a black coat, a second wearing a red baseball cap and red coat. • A residential burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Nolte Ave, Silver Spring on Monday, 2/6 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:15. p.m. Forced entry; property taken. • A commercial burglary occurred between 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 1/31 and 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 2/1 at Headliners Barbers, 946 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring. Forced entry; property taken. • An attempted commercial burglary occurred between 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 1/31 and 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 2/1 at the Convenience Express, 948 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken. • A commercial burglary occurred at Lafonda Bakery, 7914 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring between 4:35 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 2/1. H1 Beat: • A commercial burglary occurred at Maria’s Hair Salon and Monica’s Travels, 920 University Boulevard, Silver Spring between 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, 2/2 and 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 2/3. Forced entry; property taken in both cases. H2 Beat: • A robbery occurred in the unit block of University Boulevard, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 2/1 at 2:39 p.m. The suspect approached the juvenile male victim, pushed him to the ground and removed his iPod before fleeing on foot. Suspect: B/M, 5’9”, wearing a blue ski mask, tan jacket and black pants. I1 Beat: • A robbery occurred on Friday, 2/3 at 7:29 p.m. in the area of Tanley Road and Renick Road, Silver Spring. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property. Suspect: B/M, 16 years, 5’9 with dreadlocks. • A robbery occurred in the 12000 block of Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring on Thursday, 2/2 at 12:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
