J1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred on Wednesday, 1/25 at 9:10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Glenallen Avenue, Silver Spring. The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.
Suspect: black male 20’s, 6’, thin build, stubble, wearing t-shirt.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 1800 block of Snowdrop Lane, Silver Spring on Friday, 1/27 between 8:20 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred overnight Monday, 1/23 to Tuesday, 1/24 in different areas off of Notley Road and off of Randolph Road in Colesville. Streets targeted were Overton Road, Sherwood Forest Drive, Leibig Road, Shannon Drive and Camellia Drive. All the cars were unlocked. Assorted loose items left inside the vehicles were taken.


J2 Beat:

• No significant activity.


K1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3100 block of Hewitt Avenue, Aspen Hill on Saturday, 1/28 at 12:16 a.m.
Arrested: Male 16, from Silver Spring; Male, 17, from Aspen Hill.


K2 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred at Weller Road and Matey Road, Wheaton on Saturday, 1/28 at 4:45 p.m. The suspects forcefully removed property from the victim.
Suspects: two teenage Hispanic males, both short and thin.

• A residential burglary/sexual assault occurred in the 13600 block of Marianna Drive, Rockville on Wednesday, 1/29 at 7:30 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: male 22, from Aspen Hill.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Crisfield Road, Silver Spring on Saturday, 1/28 between 5:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12700 block of Hathaway Drive, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 1/24 between 3:30 p.m. and 8:37 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred at Shorefield Road and Eaglewood Drive, Wheaton on Saturday, 1/28 at 7:15 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 20-30, 5’11”– 6’, thin build, wearing a black jacket with a white stripe, black baseball cap.

• An armed robbery occurred at Centerhill Street and Embry Street, Wheaton on Thursday, 1/26 at 9:38 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 30, 5’7-5’10, 180 lbs. wearing a black hooded jacket.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Hillsboro Drive, Kemp Mill between Monday, 1/23 at 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, 1/25 at 11:00 a.m. Unknown entry; property taken.


L2 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred in the 11400 block of Georgia Avenue, Wheaton on Friday, 1/27 at 2:17 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Suspects: three black males.

• An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred at the ATM drive-thru at the Capital One Bank, 11241 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton on Monday, 1/30 at 5:53 p.m. The suspect attempted to forcefully remove property from the victim but was unsuccessful.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 26-28, 5’7”.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11100 block of Dodson lane, Wheaton on Wednesday, 1/25 at 8:29 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Arrested: Male, 18, from Landover; Male, 19, from Washington, DC.
