Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center to Host Workshop for Parents
The Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center and the YMCA Youth & Family Services will host a workshop for parents called “Raising Responsible Children.” The workshop will take place on Monday, May 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Center, located at 3300 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring. The workshop will teach parents how to raise responsible, accountable kids, view issues from a child’s perspective, create a family checklist and prepare for obstacles. Chores, allowances and family commitments will be addressed. The fee for the workshop is $10 for individuals and $15 per couple. Seating is limited so pre-registration is requested.
