Resurfacing started on Trivilah Road and Wightman Road using stimulus funding

Two more road maintenance projects by the Division of Highway Services are underway. Both Trivilah Road and Wightman Road, however, will be using stimulus funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This resurfacing work is a part of the $787 billion ARRA and meets federal requirements to improve Primary Federal Roads.

Paving projects, in which crews will resurface the local streets with hot mix asphalt after conducting full depth patching, pavement milling, utiltiy adjustments, and crack sealing:

* Trivilah Road, with full depth patching to be completed in mid December, and resurfacing scheduled to begin in the spring of 2012.

* Wightman Road, with full depth patching to be completed in mid December, and resurfacing scheduled to begin in the spring of 2012.
