STRATHMORE E-NOTES November 2011 IN THIS ISSUE The Ives Project Featuring Pianist Jeremy Denk Powerhouse pianist Jeremy Denk will be a featured artist in Strathmore's 3-day Ives Project, exploring the life and music of Charles Ives. Hailed by The Denver Post as "quite simply, one of the best pianists of his generation," Denk is also an avid Ives scholar and performer who "epitomizes a 21st century classical musician at the top of his game." A highlight of the series is Denk performing Ives and Beethoven's "Hammerklavier" Sonata. The Ives Project doesn't stop with Denk…more concerts, artists and immersive, multi-media educational events abound. Check out the entire schedule and make your plans today.
