A1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred at the 7-11, 5402 Randolph Road, North Bethesda on Tuesday, 9/13 at 12:10 p.m. The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained property.
Arrested: Male, 16 yrs. old, from Fairland.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12100 block of Galena Road, Rockville on Wednesday, 8/31 between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 4400 block of Randolph Road, Silver Spring on Thursday, 9/1.
Arrested: Male, 47 yrs. old, from FL.


A2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville on Saturday, 9/3 between 8:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Lynn Court, Rockville on Friday, 9/9 between 7:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 5600 block of Dowgate Court, Rockville on Friday, 9/9 between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in this Rockville beat. All vehicles were either unlocked or had ‘unknown entry’. Only loose items were taken from the vehicles. Streets affected included: the 400 block of Cedar Avenue, 1400 block of Veirs Mill Road, 5900 block of Lemay Road, 600 block of Edmonston Drive and the 1100 block of Parrish Drive.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 5900 block of Serenity Lane, Derwood on Monday, 8/29 at 9:51 p.m.
Arrested: Male, 23 yrs. old, from Derwood.

• A weapons offense was discovered at the Enterprise Rental Car, 14805 Southlawn Lane, Rickville on Thursday, 9/1. The suspect returned a rental vehicle. When employees were cleaning the vehicle, they found a gun in the glove box.


A3 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred outside Tiaochi, 806 Baltimore Road, Rockville on Sunday, 9/11 at 2:02 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim.
Suspect: H/M, 5’6”, 160 lbs., black short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black shoes.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 700 block of Grandin Avenue, Rockville between Friday, 9/9 and Sunday, 9/11. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight Monday, 9/12 to Tuesday, 9/13 in this Rockville beat. Three of the vehicles were unlocked; the fourth had unknown entry. Cash was taken in all cases, as well as an iPod from one vehicle and an ATM card from another. These incidents occurred in the unit and 100 blocks of Dale Drive, the 300 block of Great Falls Road, and the 100 block of Monument Street.

• A sexual assault occurred in the 100 block of Gibbs Street, Rockville by a known suspect.


A4 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred at Crabbs Branch Way and Redland Road, Redland on Tuesday, 8/30 at 10:04 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon then fled.
Suspect: H/M, 30-35 yrs. old, 5’9”-5’10”, curly hair, white T-shirt, jeans, tan work boots.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 16100 block of Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood on Thursday, 9/1 at 10:40 p.m. Attempted forced entry – unsuccessful.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 15900 block of Indian Hills Terrace, Derwood overnight Thursday, 9/8 to Friday, 9/9. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary/theft from vehicle occurred in the 1000 block of Gaither Road between 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9/8 and 9:00 a.m. on Friday 9/9. No forced entry; property taken.

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the King Farm area, Rockville on Friday, 9/9 shortly after midnight. Forced entry on all vehicles. The incidents occurred in the:
  • 800 block of Royal Crescent; took two GPS units, cash
  • 1300 block of Gaither Road; took satellite radio;
  • 1100 block of Elmcroft Boulevard; laptop computer and GPS were taken.

B1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Rollins Avenue, Rockville between 4:00 p.m. on Monday, 9/5 and 12:24 a.m. on Tuesday, 9/6.
Arrested: Male, 27 yrs. old, from Rockville.

• An instance of disorderly conduct occurred at the Hilton, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville on Monday, 9/12 at 2:30 p.m. The suspect kicked a door after being unsatisfied with service.
Suspect: B/M, 20’s, 6’3”, 220 lbs., beard, black doo-rag, black shirt, blue jeans.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred at the garages at 198 Halpine Road and at the Legacy Hotel, both in Rockville.
Arrested: Male, 30 yrs. old, from Gaithersburg.

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Monday, 9/12 to Tuesday, 9/13 in this Rockville beat. All the vehicles were unlocked; all three were searched, but only coins were taken from one vehicle.
  • Between 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. in the unit block of Marcus Court;
  • Between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. in the unit block of Marcus Court;
  • between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. in the 500 block of New Mark Esplanade.

B2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Prettyman Drive, Rockville between 11:00 p.m. on Friday, 9/9, and 8:48 a.m. on Saturday, 9/10. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A burglary occurred at the construction site at Hoover MS, 8810 Postoak Road, Potomac between Friday, 9/9 and Monday, 9/12. Property was taken from outside.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 13600 block of Anchor Cove Court, Rockville between 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 8/31 and 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, 9/1.


B3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10500 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Potomac between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 9/4. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Potomac Therapy Center, 9800 Falls Road, Potomac between Wednesday, 8/31 and Monday, 9/5. There was no sign of forced entry. Property was taken.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred in grocery parking lots in this Potomac beat:
  • On Tuesday, 8/30 between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. at the Giant, 9812 Falls Road. Unknown entry; wallet taken.
  • On Saturday, 9/3 between 12:45 p.m. and1:05 p.m. at the Safeway, 10104 River Road. Unknown entry; wallet taken.
• A theft occurred from a construction site at River Road and River View Drive, Potomac between Friday, 9/9 and Monday, 9/12. Property taken from outdoors.


B4 Beat:

• No significant activity.
