J1 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred in the 13300 block of Locksley Lane, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 9/7 at 11:50 p.m.
Arrested: Three males and one female, all age 18 and all from Silver Spring.

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 11500 block of Daffodil Lane, Silver Spring on Saturday, 9/10 at 3:00 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Tuesday, 9/5 to Wednesday, 9/6 in this Silver Spring beat. The thefts were spread around different neighborhoods and all of the vehicles were unlocked. Property taken included: money, GPS, iPod, wallet. Streets affected included: the 13300 block of Locksley Lane, 13600 block of Turnmore Road, 2100 block of Thompson Hill Court, 900 block of Brick Manor Circle, 17000 block of Woodale Drive, 1900 block of Middle Briidge Drive and the 13100 block of Riviera Terrace.


J2 Beat:

• No significant events.


K1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred at the bus stop at Bel Pre Road near Dunsinane Drive, Rossmoor on Saturday, 9/10 at 8:00 p.m. The suspects approached the victim while he waited for a bus, assaulted him and removed property.
Suspects: multiple black males 16-20.


K2 Beat:

• A rape was reported in the 3900 block of Weller Road, Silver Spring on Monday, 9/12 at 6:15 p.m. The incident was domestic related.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in front of CVS, 5560 Norbeck Road on Friday, 9/9 at 10:30 a.m. The victim had property removed forcibly.
Suspect: white male, dark hair, 6’, 200 lbs.

• An aggravated assault occurred in front of Wheaton High School, 12601 Dalewood Drive, Wheaton on Thursday, 9/8 at 2:30 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’9”, 200 lbs;
Vehicle: black Ford van with MD tags.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 14400 block of Parkvale Road, Rockville on Wednesday, 9/7 between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. An unknown suspect attempted to force entry. No entry, nothing taken.

• Two residential burglaries occurred at the same residence in the 12700 block of Valleywood Drive on Thursday, 9/8 and Tuesday, 9/13. These events were domestic in nature.


L1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred on Shorefield Road, Wheaton near Wheaton Park on Thursday, 9/8 at 7:00 p.m. The juvenile male victim was on foot. The suspects approached the suspect, removed property, and fled.
Suspects: Three males wearing black ski masks.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11900 block of Grandview Avenue, Silver Spring on Friday, 9/9 at 1:40 a.m. The victim was walking to his car. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Suspect: black male, 17-18, close cropped hair.


L2 Beat:

• An attempted armed commercial robbery/robbery occurred at Hollister, Wheaton Mall, Wheaton on Wednesday, 9/7 at 1:05 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property from a second victim.
Suspect: black male, 18-25, 5’6”, 140 lbs., thin build, wearing a sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

• An armed robbery occurred at the Wheaton 7-11, 11406 Georgia Avenue, Wheaton on Thursday, 9/8 at 1:46 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
Suspect: black male, 5’6”, with a thin build.

• An aggravated assault/attempted armed robbery occurred at the corner of Ennalls Avenue and Grandview, Wheaton on Saturday, 9/10 at 3:30 a.m. The victim left the Rumba Y Carbon Grill and was on foot back to his house. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to obtain property.
Suspect: black male, 25-28, 6’2”, 200 lbs., with dreadlocks, wearing a red t-shirt and black slacks.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred near the football field at Einstein High School, 11135 Newport Mill Road, Kensington on Wednesday, 9/7 at 3:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Suspects: three black male teenagers.

• A robbery occurred in the 1500 block of Ladd Street, Silver Spring on Friday, 9/10 at 6:54 p.m. The suspect removed property from the victim.
Suspect: black male, 16-17, 5’8”, 120 lbs.
