D1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the 1900 block of East West Highway in Silver Spring on Monday 8/29 at 11:00 p.m., the adult male victim was threatened with a weapon while the suspects removed his property.
Suspect: Two H/M’s, each 23-24 with thin builds

• A robbery occurred in the 7300 block of Maple Avenue in Chevy Chase on Thursday 8/25 at approximately 4:30 p.m. The suspects obtained property from the victim and fled.
Suspect: B/M, 25-30, 6’-6’4”/320-350 lbs., tattoo of tear under right eye
Suspect: B/M, 25-30, thin but muscular
Vehicle: Older model, light blue, 4-door Ford Crown Victoria sedan; described as resembling a Barwood Cab

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3100 block of Brooklawn Terrace in Chevy Chase on Monday 8/22 at 2:45 a.m. No forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Blaine Drive in Chevy Chase on Monday 8/29 at 7:45 p.m. Unknown entry; unknown what was taken.


D2 Beat:

• No significant activity to report.


D3 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred in the 10400 block of Fawcett Street in Kensington on Friday 8/26 at approximately 2:00 a.m. The adult male victim was threatened with a weapon and had property taken from him.
Suspect: BH/M, 20-25, 5’7”-5’9”, 150-160 lbs., bandana over face

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3200 block of University Boulevard in Kensington on Thursday 8/25 between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3200 block of Blueford Road in Kensington overnight from Thursday 8/25 to Friday 8/26. Forced entry; property taken.


E1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 7000 block of Loch Lomond Drive in Bethesda on Wednesday 8/24 between 12:40 a.m. and noon. Forced entry; property taken.


E2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 8700 block of Burning Tree Road in Bethesda. On Wednesday 8/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. No forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 7800 block of Glennbrook Road in Bethesda on Thursday 8/25 between 8:40 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the 7800 block of Maryknoll Avenue in Bethesda on Tuesday 8/23 between 3:15 and 4:15 a.m. An arrest was made.
Arrested: Male, age 34, from Washington D.C.


E3 Beat:

• An attempted commercial burglary occurred at the Getty Gas Station, 6060 Montrose Avenue in Bethesda on Saturday 8/27 at 11:50 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 6400 block of Rock Forest Drive in Bethesda sometime between Sunday 8/28 and Monday 8/29. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the parking lot of Jim Coleman Toyota, located at 10400 Auto Park Avenue in Bethesda on Thursday 8/28 at approximately 1:25 a.m.


E4 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the 10500 block of Rockville Pike in Rockville on Saturday 8/27 at 3:15 a.m. The victim was assaulted and property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10200 block of Fleming Avenue in Bethesda on Thursday 8/25 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
