Bringing Out the Artist in You Bethesda FRESHFARM Market Shop for pasture-raised meats and eggs, artisan cheeses, fruits, vegetables and baked goods at the Bethesda FRESHFARM Market every Saturday, May - Oct. from 9am-1pm along Norfolk Ave. between Fairmont and St. Elmo Aves. Special events including live music, chef demos and kid's activities are featured each week. More Info. Bethesda Art Walk & Guided Tour   The Bethesda Art Walk features eight art openings and a guided tour on Friday, September 9 from 6-9pm. Participating galleries feature painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more.  Guided tours provide a more in depth opportunity for Bethesda Art Walk patrons to learn about the current shows and exhibiting artists.     Exciting stops on this months art walk include L' Eclat de Verre, a new addition to the Bethesda arts scene, and the annual Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards exhibit featuring the region's best contemporary artists.     Art Walk galleries are open from 6-9pm and the FREE tour will begin at 6:30pm at the Bethesda Metro Center. The Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards September 1-30     The work of 11 finalists will be on display at the Artery Plaza Gallery, 7200 Wisconsin Avenue for the month of September. Drawing, photography, painting and hands on installations complete the exhibit. Gallery hours are 12-6pm, Wed. - Sat. The public  opening reception will take place during the Art Walk on Friday, Sept. 9, 6-9pm. More info.
