A1 Beat:

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 12600 block of Veirs Mill Road, Rockville between 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, 5/28 and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, 5/29. A vehicle part was taken.


A2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 5900 block of Serenity Lane, Derwood on Friday, 5/27 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Tuesday, 5/24 and Wednesday, 5/25. In both instances, the vehicles were unlocked and property was taken. The incidents:

• Between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. in the 12700 block of Atlantic Avenue, Rockville.
• Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. in the 2000 block of Stanley Avenue, Rockville.

A3 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 400 block of Pinewood Road, Rockville on Thursday, 5/26 at 6:05 p.m. The adult male victim and a friend were walking when they were assaulted and had property removed.
Arrested: Male, 24 yrs. old; from an unknown address;
Arrested: Male, 25 yrs. old, from Rockville;
Arrested: Male, 20 yrs. old, from Montgomery Village.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred at Crabb Avenue & Virginia Avenue, Rockville on Tuesday, 5/31 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The adult male victim was walking when the suspects assaulted him and took his property.
Suspect: W/M, 20 yrs. old, 5’8”;
Suspects: two H/M’s, 35 yrs. old, both 6’, wearing black shirt, black shorts.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the unit block of Monroe Street, Rockville on Wednesday, 5/25 at 12:20 a.m. The adult female victim was walking from the Rockville Metro when she was assaulted and had property removed.
Suspect: B/M, 20 yrs. old, 5’4”, 140 lbs., black T-shirt;
Suspect: B/M, 20 yrs. old, 5’4”/140 lbs;


A4 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 7100 block of Roslyn Avenue, Derwood on Tuesday, 5/31 between 9:45 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A commercial burglary occurred at Food Express, 16254 Frederick Road, Gaithersburg on Monday, 5/23 at 2:50 a.m. An arrest was made.
Arrested: Male, 25 yrs. old, of an unknown address.

• Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in the Derwood area in the early morning hours of Wednesday, 5/25. One vehicle was unlocked; the others had unknown entry. Only loose items were taken from the vehicles. Affected streets included: the 16500 and 16600 blocks of Killdeer Drive, 16500 block of Grande Vista Drive and the 16500 block of Keats Terrace.


B1 Beat:

• There were no significant events in the beat this week.


B2 Beat:

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 13600 block of Cherrydale Drive, Rockville overnight between 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 5/25 and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, 5/26. Two cameras, a GPS, and the garage door opener were taken from the unlocked vehicle in the driveway.

• A residential garage burglary occurred in the 2600 block of Northrup Drive, Rockville between 7:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, 5/26. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 13600 block of Cherrydale Drive, Rockville on Thursday, 5/26 between 1201 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Unknown entry into a vehicle in the driveway. An iPod was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Yellow Plum Court, Rockville between 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 5/25 and 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, 5/26. Unknown entry, property was taken.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the 13600 block of Cherrydale Drive, Rockville overnight between 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 5/25 and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, 5/26.
Vehicle: blue ’02 Honda Accord 4D, MD tags.


B3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 8900 block of Saunders Lane, Bethesda on Friday, 5/27 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:36 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 10800 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Bethesda this week, near the Old Angler’s Inn. In both instances, the entry was forced and cash and property taken:

• On Monday, 5/30 between 8:20 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
• On Saturday, 5/28 between 3:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m.

B4 Beat:

• A homicide occurred in the 14100 block of Travilah Road, North Potomac on Wednesday, 5/25 at 9:32 p.m. An adult male victim was murdered. An arrest was made.
Arrested: Male, 29 yrs. old, from unknown address.

• A theft occurred in the 12700 block of High Meadow Drive, North Potomac between 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, 5/29 and 2:00 a.m. on Monday, 5/30.
