Farmers Market Features Fresh, Local Finds The Rockville Farmers Market is open Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the corner of Route 28 and Monroe Street. The market is open through Nov. 19, and offers seasonal fruits and vegetables, bedding plants, cut flowers, preserves, honey, herbs, baked goods and more. Parking is free. |

| Celebrating its silver anniversary, the annual Sculpture on the Grounds exhibit returns to Rockville's Civic Center Park Sunday, June 5. The free show features large-scale sculptures surrounded by the park's natural beauty. The exhibit opens with a reception and walking tour between 1 and 2:30 p.m. The exhibit runs through October.

Stay Safe at the Pool
Join the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center for a free community Water Safety Day, Tuesday, June 14, 5-8:30 p.m. Learn about the proper use of lifejackets, how to prevent drowning, which swim lessons your child should take and more. Participants who visit at least five safety stations will receive a pass to visit the pool this summer. |
