Arts & Fun Abound February flourishes with an abundance of cultural activities! The Bethesda Art Walk invites you to immerse yourself in the diversity of visual arts; Dance Bethesda would like to see you on the dance floor; and the Bethesda Literary Festival writing contest challenges you to get creative. Bethesda Art Walk  The Bethesda Art Walk will take place Friday, February 11 from 6-9pm. Sink into the fine art and fine craft our Bethesda has to offer at six galleries who will keep their doors open late to show off their latest exhibits. More Info.        Gallery 360, 4836 Rugby Ave.   Photographs by Donald Becker Don Becker has photographed dance for 30 years.  Don remarks, "I like the composition and design in ballet photography, particularly in the creative use of light and shadow."   Orchard Gallery, 7917 Norfolk Ave.   Elaine Burch Taylor - Recent Paintings Elaine Burch Taylor's abstract works are packed with color and depict the seasons.   St. Elmo's Fire Gallery, 4828 St. Elmo Ave.   American & International Work A broad range of unique fine art from Russian, Ukrainian and American artists is exhibit.   Fraser Gallery, 7700E. Wisconsin Ave.   International Photography Competition Featuring work by 25 photographers. The Fraser Gallery received over 350 entries from national and international photographers. Upstairs Art Studios, 4948 St. Elmo Ave.  Work by Members Iris Elfenbein & Joan Field Elfenbein's will show oil, watercolor and pastels  and Field will feature acrylic paintings and prints.   Waverly Street Gallery, 4600 East-West Hwy. 3rd Annual Invitational Show 21 + 21  The 21 artists in the Gallery invited 21 other artists to exhibit their work. 21 +21 will feature recognized artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and ceramics.  Poets & Writers Encouraged The Bethesda Urban Partnership produces writing and poetry contests as a part of the Bethesda Literary Festival.
