County Adds Helpful Post Storm Information for Residents on Homepage; Tree Debris Removal Procedures, Pothole Reporting Included

While County crews continue clean up operations in the wake of last week’s snow storm, many residents, too, are dealing with the aftermath of the storm itself and its accompanying power outages.

In order to help guide residents to necessary services relating to cleanup, the County has added a Post Storm Information icon on its home page – www.montgomerycountymd.gov – with links to helpful tips, procedures and phone numbers.

For example, two issues arising as a result of the storm are removal of tree debris and reporting potholes. The following information can also be found on the new site.

Report downed trees on County property online at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/311 or by calling 311 (240-777-0311 from outside the County) or the Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 ...more
