J1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 15100 block of Fairlawn Avenue, Silver Spring on Thursday, 1/20 at 11:55 p.m. A verbal dispute escalated to threats to harm the victim. The suspect was arrested.
Arrested: male, 47, from Silver Spring.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 13500 block of Winding Trail Court, Silver Spring on Monday, 1/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. No forced entry. Property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 13500 block of Coachlamp Lane, Silver Spring on Monday, 1/24 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Forced entry. Property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2100 block of Glenallen Avenue, Silver Spring on Monday, 1/24 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:55 p.m. No forced entry. Property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 900 block of Windmill Lane, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 1/25 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. No forced entry; property was taken.


J2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3300 block of Buehler Court, Olney on Monday, 1/17 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. No forced entry; unknown if property was taken. Two suspects were arrested.
Arrested: Female, 26, from Olney; male, 30, from Olney.

• Four thefts from vehicles occurred on Tuesday, 1/8 between 1:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in the 18100 block of Marksman Circle, Olney. All vehicles had a window broken; one GPS was taken from one vehicle.


K1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14200 block of Pear Tree Lane, Aspen Hill on Monday, 1/20 at 8:30 p.m. No forced entry; nothing was taken.
Suspect: black male, 6’, 200 lbs.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14100 block of Weeping Willow Drive, Aspen Hill on Monday, 1/24 between 10:20 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No forced entry. Property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Snowbird Terrace, Aspen Hill on Monday, 1/24 at 11:55 a.m. Unknown type entry; unknown if property was taken.
Suspect: male, 18-25, 5’5”, thin build, wearing a baggy black jacket and baggy blue jeans.


K2 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred at Goodhill Road and Randolph Road, Wheaton on Monday, 1/24 at midnight. The victim was sitting on the curb. The suspects approached the victim. One suspect placed a tire iron to the victim’s chest while personal property was taken from him. After the robbery, one suspect displayed a gun and another pulled out a knife.
Suspects: multiple Hispanic males, 18-20.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 5100 block of Russet Road, Rockville on Monday, 1/17 between 12:00 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. Attempted forced entry. No entry, nothing taken.


L1 Beat:

• No significant activity.


L2 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at AB Driving School, 11212 Grandview Avenue, Wheaton between Friday, 1/14 and Sunday, 1/23. Unknown type entry. Property was taken.
