D2 Beat:

• An indecent exposure incident occurred in the 7600 block of Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda on Sunday, 1/16 between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Police responded to a call for a disorderly subject at this location. The suspect was located inside the stairwell area of the building urinating and exposing himself.
Arrested: Male, age 41, homeless.

• An indecent exposure incident occurred in the 7400 block of Arlington Road in Bethesda on Tuesday, 1/18 at approximately 4:30 p.m. The adult female victim reported seeing the referenced suspect inside the Public Library exposing himself in view of other patrons. The victim notified library staff who told the suspect to leave.
Suspect: H/M, 42, 5’4”-5’5”, 155 lbs.

• A graffiti incident occurred at the BCC Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda on Friday, 1/14 just after 6:00 p.m. Officers conducting surveillance in this area observed four teenaged male suspects approach the government building and begin “tagging” the windows. When approached by the police, three suspects were able to flee; however the fourth was detained. Eventually the other three were located and arrested.
Arrested: Male, 14, from Rockville;
Arrested: Male, 15, from Chevy Chase;
Arrested: Male, 15, from Potomac;
Arrested: Male, 15, from Potomac.

E1 Beat:

• A home invasion robbery occurred in the 7400 block of Arden Road, Cabin John on Monday, 1/17 between noon and 1:00 p.m. Unknown type entry. The victim was detained by the suspects and property was taken.
Suspect: W/M, 5’5”-6’, thin build, mustache, wore gloves;
Suspect: W/M, 5’5”-6’.
Vehicle: red pick-up truck with a silver toolbox

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 4400 block of Willard Avenue, Bethesda on Wednesday, 1/12 at 1:10 p.m. The suspect was seen by a Whole Foods employee shoplifting merchandise. When confronted, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim.
Suspect: B/M, 30-40, 6’4”-6’7”, 230-250 lbs.


E2 Beat:

• Two thefts occurred at an unknown time between Wednesday, 1/12 and Thursday, 1/13 when two mailboxes were taken in the 5400 block of Beech Avenue, Bethesda and the 6700 block of Michael Drive, Bethesda.

• Two thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Wednesday, 1/12 into Thursday 1/13 when two unsecured vehicles, on Walton Road and Ewing Drive in Bethesda, were entered and loose items left inside were removed.


E3 Beat:

• A theft occurred on Friday, 1/14 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. when an oversized mailbox was stolen from the 11200 block of Luxmanor Road, North Bethesda.

• Four thefts from vehicles occurred in the 6700 block of Sulky Lane, the 6800 block of Old Stage Road and the 11900 block of Stonewood Lane, all in North Bethesda on Sunday, 1/16 between midnight and 9:45 a.m. Entry was gained into the unsecured vehicles and loose items left inside were removed.


E4 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 11100 block of Kenilworth Avenue, Garrett Park on Wednesday, 1/12 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. No forced entry. Nothing was reported taken.

• A theft occurred at the Dennis and Phillip Ratner Museum, 10001 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda at an unknown time between Friday night, 1/14 and Saturday morning, 1/16. Five sculptures were removed from the outside garden of the museum. The referenced suspect was identified after he sold the stolen items; all of which have been recovered.
Suspect: W/M, 27, 5’11”, 150 lbs.
