Gas Station Theft from Auto

On December 11, 2010, at approximately 8:33 a.m., a theft from auto occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station).

The victim pulled up to the station and began to pump gas when a dark colored, medium sized sedan (possibly a Nissan Altima) pulled up next to her vehicle (information from surveillance from the gas station) and took property from the victim's passenger seat. The suspect(s) then drove away from the gas station proceeding southbound on New Hampshire Avenue. The victim was not aware this occurred and drove away. At approximately 9:50 a.m., the victim contacted the Takoma Park Police Department after she discovered the theft.

There is no further description of the vehicle, nor for the suspect(s).
