Concern for Missing Juvenile

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Germantown juvenile.

Anthony Leonard Jr., 11 years old, of the 14000 block of Gallop Terrace in Germantown (map location 1), was last seen on at 706 University Boulevard in Silver Spring (map location 2), today at approximately 1:00 p.m.

He is described as a black male, 4’ tall and weighing 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with long black sleeves with a gray vest and black sweat pants. He was also wearing a “76ers” basketball jersey under his shirt.

Police and family are concerned because of his age.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Anthony Leonard Jr., is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.

11-Year-Old Boy Located

Anthony Leonard Jr. has been located safe and unharmed. He had been reported missing last night. He has been reunited with family.

The family and police department thank the media, the public, and local listserves for their assistance in publicizing this case.
