Michael J. Bobbitt Awarded County Executive's Award for Excellence as an Emerging Leader

Michael BobbittMichael J. Bobbitt, Producing Artistic Director of Adventure Theatre has been awarded the 2010 Montgomery County Executive's award as an Emerging Leader, for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities.  Michael's work in the D.C. Area, coupled with his generosity of spirit, strengthens our community and has long reaching impact on the many thousands of patrons, colleagues, and friends with whom he has contact. 
 
The Excellence Awards will be presented October 18, 2010 at the Music Center at Strathmore in a special ceremony to honor the 122 individuals and companies who have received grants from the Arts & Humanities council.
 
Please join me and Adventure Theatre in applauding Michael as he accepts this award, which not only honors him but also the entire team at Adventure Theatre, where theater begins.
