The police department is seeking the identity of a man found on the railroad tacks in Kensington on July 25. A police sketch of the victim has been released.

Do you know this man? Detectives from the 5th/6th and 2nd District Investigative Section are continuing to investigate one incident of assault and two incidents of indecent exposure. One incident of indecent exposure occurred recently on Saturday, July 3. An assault and an indecent exposure occurred several years ago in October of 2005. Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for all three incidents. A new composite along with the 2005 composite and surveillance photographs are being released.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 4th District Investigative Section are investigating a series of hate-based graffiti vandalisms that occurred in Olney on July 25. Hate-based graffiti was found on a synagogue and two residences close by.

Carrie Dischiave, a dynamic Rockville High School science teacher, has been diagnosed with a Fibrillary Astrocytoma, a grade two brain tumor. A fundraiser has been organized and the school is accepting donations to help with financial support for Carrie and her 4-month-old baby.
