Rockville Civic Ballet Presents 'Cinderella' and 'Concerto in F'

Rockville, Md., July 30, 2010 - The Rockville Civic Ballet will perform the classic fairy tale, Cinderella, Saturday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m., at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive.

The performance will be set to the music of Prokofiev and will also include an original piece set to George Gershwin's "Concerto in F."

Tickets cost $16 for adults and $12 for children 12 years and younger and seniors 60 years and older. Tickets are available through the theater box office online at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre, on the phone at 240-314-8690, or in person Tuesday through Saturday 2-7 p.m. or two hours before performance time.

The Rockville Civic Ballet was established in 1974 and consists of 75 adult and children dancers. The company performs an annual spring and summer production and the holiday classic, "The Nutcracker."
