City of Rockville Events February 4 - 11, 2010 Dance Ensemble Features Music, Comedy Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble presents a uniquely American story through an exuberant fusion of live music, comedy, singing and a dazzling array of percussive dance forms rooted in different cultures at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Tickets on sale now. Kick Up Your Heels at a Square Dance Celebrate Valentine's Day by doing a do-si-do with your partner at a square dance for all ages at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive. Take in Art After Hours VisArts galleries and resident studios open their doors for an evening of art, entertainment and fun Friday, Feb. 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Arts and Innovation Building, 155 Gibbs St., in Town Square. Check out Points of Departure, a photo exhibit culled from more than 750 entries. Shoot Some Hoops on a Saturday Night Teens ages 14-18 can come out for some late night basketball and a DJ from 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway. Events features 5-on-5 games and skills contest with prizes. Cost $3 per person. New Art Exhibit Opens, Guitarist Performs The art of David Carter (drawings and paintings), Janet Gohres (ceramic sculpture), Ted Schroll (photography) and Olga Shpitalna (oil on canvas) will be on display. Meet the artists at an opening reception Sunday, Feb. 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Glenview Mansion. James Mabry performs the blues at 2 p.m. Enjoy a Sunday Afternoon Concert John Saint Amour will serve as guest conductor of the 60-member Rockville Concert Band when it presents a "B" List Composers Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at F.
