Commission for Women Publishes Guide To Surviving Legal Process of Separation, Divorce; Copies available in Montgomery County Public Libraries

The Montgomery County Commission for Women has published a new book, “A Woman’s Guide to Surviving the Legal Process of Separation and Divorce in Maryland.” This book is for individuals facing divorce and provides information about the legal system, their rights, and responsibilities.

Available in English and Spanish, the book also has a section specifically for immigrant women who may have special needs when it comes to separation and divorce in the U.S.

Montgomery County Public Libraries has copies of the book for both the circulation and reference collections at each branch, so residents may either borrow the books or use the reference copies.

Copies may be purchased for $5 at the offices of the Commission for Women, 401 N. Washington St, Suite 100, Rockville. Mail-order purchases of the book are $8 each.
