Missing Woman From Takoma Park

The Takoma Park Police Department is attempting to locate the individual shown in the attached photograph, Ying Chen, who is described as an Asian female, 18 years old, 5’4, 120 lbs., light complexion, long hair, no tattoos or piercings. She was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with a hood, dark blue sweat pants and slippers. Chen was last seen leaving her place of employment in the 900 block of East-West Highway (map location 1), Takoma Park, Maryland, around 7:00 p.m. on October 28, 2009.

According to Chen’s family members, she does not speak English and has only been in the United States for approximately four months.

Chen was spotted sitting in the lobby of an apartment building in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue (map location 2) on October 28, 2009, at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Missing Takoma Park Woman Located

On October 30, 2009, missing person, Ying Chen, was located. Chen is in good health and has been reunited with her family.
