J2 Beat:

• A commercial robbery on Monday 8/17 at 1:44 p.m. occurred at the 7-11 at 17701 Muncaster Road. The suspect, a, entered the store and punched the cashier in the face. The suspect grabbed cash and was last seen jumping the fence next to the 7-11.
Suspect: B/M, 25-30, 5’8”, 180 lbs., wearing a white doo rag on his head, white shirt, blue pants, and brown boots,

• A residential burglary on Thursday 8/20 at 3:30 p.m. occurred in the 3400 block of Bantry Way. Police responded for trespassers on HOC property. The suspects (170 Talbot St.), attempted to evade the police and ran inside the occupied house via the unlocked back door. Both suspects were arrested.
Arrested: two men, one homeless, NFD and the other 28 years old from Rockville


K1 Beat:

• An armed robbery of the Papa John’s delivery person occurred on Monday 8/24 at 9:57 p.m. at 3030 Hewitt Avenue, after a bogus order was phoned in to the listed address. The suspects, approached the victim and demanded cash, food and soda.
Suspects: two black males, 20’s, one tall and one short with handgun.

• A residential burglary between Tuesday 8/18 and Saturday 8/22 occurred in the 13300 block of Foxhall Drive while the victim was on vacation. Suspects forced entry, property taken.

• A burglary occurred at an apartment at 3030 Hewitt Avenue on Sunday 8/23 between 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No force, property taken.


K2 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery on Tuesday 8/18 at 4:45 a.m. occurred at Parkland Drive and Danvers Street. The two adult female victims were on foot on their way to work. One suspect exited a dark 4-door sedan and grabbed the victim’s purse. The suspect vehicle, occupied by one other suspect, pulled up and the first suspect entered the vehicle. The suspect vehicle traveled north on Parkland Drive.

• The strong-arm street robbery on Sunday 8/23 at 9:30 p.m. occurred at 12612 Turkey Branch Parkway. The adult male victim was riding a bike. The suspects, approached the victim and took the victim’s bike, wallet, and food.
Suspects: two black males and a Hispanic male, all 18-24 years of age.

• The aggravated assault was the result of a road rage incident occurring Tuesday 8/25, between 8:48 to 9:09 a.m., at Georgia Avenue and Norbeck Road. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the victim and threatened to shoot her.
Suspect: white male, 30-34, 5’10”-6’1” weighing 260-300 lbs.
Vehicle: 2007 Toyota Yaris, blue


L1 Beat:

• A commercial burglary on Saturday 8/23 at Manny & Olga’s Pizza at 12134 Georgia Avenue was discovered at 8:54 a.m. The front glass window was broken out. Cash taken.

• A residential burglary on Friday 8/21 1:45 p.m.-5:06 p.m. occurred at 1906 Ventura Avenue. Force used. $2.00 taken.

• The residential burglary at 2001 Hermitage Avenue occurred on Tuesday 8/18 between 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Force used, Property taken.

• Two stolen vehicles:

• Friday, 8/21 to Saturday 8/22, 11709 Kingtree Street, 2002 Plymouth Neon.
  Suspect: black male, 15-18, 5’7”-5’8” tall, weighing 150-160 pounds with dreadlocks,
  Suspect: Hispanic male, 15-17, 5’6”-5’8” & 140-150 lbs, with a crew cut.
  
  
• Sunday 8/23 12:50 a/m/ to 1:15 a.m., 11702 Grandview Avenue, 2001 Mazda 626: The victim exited his vehicle and entered the house, came out to find a white female, 35-40, in his car. He tried to open the door and the suspect drove off in his car.

L2 Beat:

• The strong-arm robbery on Thursday 8/20 at 6:36 p.m. occurred at the Wheaton Metro station. Arrested: Three B/M’s, all 15 years of age from Washington, D.C.

• An aggravated assault with a beer bottle on Saturday 8/22 at 2:30 a.m. that occurred at Telvis Restaurant, 11222 Grandview Avenue. The adult male victim was arguing with an unknown third party, when the suspect, struck him over the head with a beer bottle. The suspect fled south on Grandview on foot.
Suspect: B/M, 20-30, NFD.

• A commercial burglary on Monday 8/17 at 2:08 a.m. at the Archstone Apartments at 11101 Georgia Avenue, community room. No force, property taken.
Suspects: B/M, 25-35 and B/F, 25-30
