Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center --- eVents Calendar --- I want to… COUNTY NEWS First District Open House - The 1st District Station opens its doors for tours, demonstrations, and activities for the whole family on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 12 pm – 3 pm at 1451 Seven Locks Rd, Rockville, MD. There will be demonstrations by Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), a Maryland National Capital Park Police horse-mounted officer, K-9 officers with canine partners, and motorcycle officers. A U.S. Park Police helicopter and the MCP Command Bus will be available for viewing. MC Fire/Rescue personnel will also attend. Activities for children include an appearance by Apple Dumpling the Clown, and a moon bounce. Child fingerprinting will be available. Everyone is welcome to attend, but residents served by the 1st District are particularly encouraged to attend to meet the men and women of the 1st District dedicating themselves to keeping the greater Rockville communities safe.
