High school students throughout the Region are invited to write a 1,500 word essay on the topic, "How can Greater Washington companies responsibly and effectively deal with the economic challenges facing the United States?" The competition, sponsored by Carlyle Founder David Rubenstein, will award one $20,000 scholarship and nine $10,000 scholarships to students.
