ILLEGAL DRUG ARREST

• 07/22/09-(11:39 p.m.) Reginald Lamont Cooper, M, age 33, of Silver Spring was arrested for possession of CDS-PCP following a complaint in the 300 block of Woodland Road. Mr. Cooper was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
  
  
• 07/24/09-(2:39 a.m.) Male juvenile, and Female juvenile, both age 17, and both of Rockville, were arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana; and in additional the female juvenile was also charged with possession of CDS-paraphernalia and a minor in possession of a tobacco product following a traffic stop 500 block of Hungerford Drive. Both juveniles were transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released into the custody of their parents.
  
  
• 07/26/09-(2:38 a.m.) John Brendan Steiner, M, age 21, of Brookeville, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana, possession of CDS-paraphernalia, and driving under the influence (alcohol) following a traffic stop at the intersection of Southlawn Lane and Lofstrand Lane. Mr. Steiner was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

THEFT ARRESTS

• 07/23/09-(5:59 p.m.) Vincent Earl Cromer, Jr., M, age 19, of Greenbelt, was arrested for shoplifting, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, possession of CDS-cocaine and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a complaint in the 100 block of Gibbs Street. Mr. Cromer was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
  
  
• 07/23/09-(8:05 p.m.) Enoch Ofori-Antwi, M, age 19, of Lanham, and Andenet Bekele Shimeles, M, age 21, of Atlanta, Georgia, were arrested for theft, auto theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, credit card theft, and identity theft following a traffic stop in the 11300 block of Rockville Pike. Mr. Ofori-Antwi and Mr. Shimeles were transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARREST

• 07/18/09-(12:58 a.m.) Charles Russell Lewis, M, age 21, of Rockville, was arrested for simple assault following a complaint in the 200 block of East Middle Lane. Mr. Lewis was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ROBBERY ARREST

• 07/17/09-(6:50 p.m.) Kwame Boshean Smith, M, age 25, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for a robbery that occurred on 7/14/09 in the 200 block of North Horners Lane. Mr. Smith was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing and additionally charged with possession of CDS-cocaine.

OTHER ARRESTS

• 07/22/09-12:25 a.m. – 12:46 a.m.) Ayan M. Garad, F, age 37, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for failure of passenger to pay fare following a complaint in the 100 block of Gibbs Street. Ms. Garad was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
  
  
• 07/24/09-(9:45 p.m.) Taylor Ivan Johnson, M, age 20, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of a fraudulent ID and possession of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21, following a traffic stop in the 1020 Rockville Pike. Mr. Johnson was issued 3 criminal citations and released.

DUI ARRESTS

• 07/18/09-(5:50 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.) Panagiotis Stellakis, M, age 61, of Rockville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Meadow Hall Drive and Twinbrook Parkway. Mr. Stellakis was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
  
  
• 07/21/09-(12:50 a.m.- 12:53 a.m.) Adam Nabil El-Khorazaty, M, age 25, of North Potomac, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of I-270 and Falls Road. Mr. El-Khorazaty was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
  
  
• 07/25/09-(12:53 a.m.) Jovanee Alexander Sanchez, M, age 22, of Silver Spring was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Hungerford Drive and Mannakee Street. Mr. Sanchez was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
  
  
• 07/25/09-(4:26 a.m.) Elgar Gabibov, M, age 24, of North Potomac, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of West Montgomery Avenue and Shady Grove Road. Mr. Gabibov was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
  
  
• 07/25/09-(2:21 p.m.) Paul Marshall Waters, M, age 56, of Rockville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Rockville Pike. Mr. Waters was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
  
  
• 07/26/09-(3:00 a.m.) Lionel Sebastian Cave, M, age 31, of Reston, Virginia, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of I-270 and Falls Road. Mr. Cave was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

THEFTS

• 07/17/09-(10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. 15800 block of Shady Grove Road, unknown suspect(s) removed an LCD Project and case from an office suite conference room.
  
  
• 07/18/09-07/19/09-(7:00 p.m. – 11:15 a.m.) 300 Ridgemont Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed plants from a residential yard.
  
  
• 07/19/09-(2:35 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.) 2500 block of Lindley Terrace, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse containing a wallet, credit cards, a driver’s license, U.S. currency and a cell phone from a unattended vehicle.
  
  
• 07/20/09-07/21/09-(8:30 p.m.-10:38 a.m.) 800 block of Elmcroft Boulevard, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS from an unattended vehicle.
