Police Search for Eleven-Year-Old Missing Girl

Third District Montgomery County Police officers are searching for a missing 11-year-old girl who resides in the 11800 block of Old Columbia Pike in the White Oak community of Silver Spring (map location 1). Officers were notified by a family member who reported that the juvenile left the area after a family dispute Sunday night.

The missing girl is Nicole Owens. She is described as a black female, 5’2” to 5’4” tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and wears her black hair in a pony tail. She was wearing a blue-green tank top and blue jean shorts. Nicole was last seen at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the Super Fresh grocery store parking lot located at 12028 Cherry Hill Road in Silver Spring (map location 2)

Anyone who has information about Nicole’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.

Eleven-Year-Old Missing Girl Located

Critical missing juvenile, Nicole Owens, age 11, who was last seen on July 26, 2009, was located safe and unharmed in Silver Spring.

The Montgomery County Police Department and the family of Nicole Owens would like to thank the members of the media and community for their assistance in publicizing this incident.
