*excludes stolen tags G1 Beat: A strong-arm robbery/assault occurred on Tuesday, 5/26 at 12:08 a.m. in the area of the 900 block of Thayer Avenue in Silver Spring. Two suspects approached the victim, with the first suspect asking for the time while the second suspect punched the victim and took personal property. The suspects fled on foot. Suspects: (2) B/M’s G2 Beat: • A residential shed burglary occurred in the 9300 block of Caroline Avenue in Silver Spring on Monday 5/25 at 12:38 a.m. The victim observed a suspect exiting his shed and approached him. The suspect observed the victim approaching the shed and fled on foot. Suspect: H/M 5’6”. Orange shirt, blue jeans • A residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring on Tuesday, 5/19 between 1:30 p.m. and 2:08 p.m. A senior female adult was sitting in her residence when she observed a suspect in her living room. As she approached him, the suspect fled on foot. Believed no forced entry, property was taken. Suspect: B/M 45-50 years, 5’8” to 5’10, light complexion wearing a blue baseball cap. H1 Beat: • A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Patton Drive in Silver Spring between 2:50 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, 5/24. No forced entry, property taken. H2 Beat: • A strong-arm robbery/assault occurred on Saturday, 5/23 in the area of the 600 block of Northampton Drive in Silver Spring. The suspect approached the victim, asked for money, and attempted to take personal property. The suspect proceeded to assault the victim and fled on foot. The adult male suspect was arrested. • An aggravated assault occurred on Saturday, 5/23 at 7:35 a.m. in the 600 block of Northampton Drive in Silver Spring. An adult male was cut on the wrist by an acquaintance after they argued over a sporting event. • A residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of Dilston Road in Silver Spring on Tuesday, 5/19 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. No forced entry, property taken. I1 Beat: • An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred on Sunday, 5/24 at 6:45 p.m. in the area of Ruxton Road and Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring. The female victim was approached by two females who attempted to fight with her. The suspect then demanded cash and when she refused one of the suspects attempted to snatch her purse. Suspects: (2) B/F’s 15-16 years of age • An armed robbery occurred at the 7-11 at 12257 Tech Road in Silver Spring on Monday, 5/18 at 1:25 a.m. Two armed suspects entered the business. The suspects took cash and cigarettes and fled. Suspects: (2) B/M 20-23 years, 5’8, 150 lbs., wearing ski masks, gloves, handguns • An aggravated assault occurred on Wednesday 5/20 at 3:50 p.m. in front of 11600 Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring. The 19-year-old female victim was approached from behind. One displayed scissors and threatened to harm her. Suspects: B/F 17-18 years, 5’5” 90 lbs., armed with scissors; B/F 16-17 years, 5’2” to 5”4” 110 lbs. • An aggravated assault occurred on Sunday, 5/24 at 1:48 p.m. at 1113 Nora Drive in Silver Spring. A juvenile female victim observed four suspects in her driveway and looked out the window. The suspects noticed the victim and one pointed a handgun at her. The victim screamed and the suspects fled on foot. Suspects: (4) B/M’s 20-24 years, 6’3” 170-190 lbs. one armed with a handgun • A residential burglary occurred at an apartment in the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring on Monday, 5/18 between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. No forced entry, property taken. • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 12000 block of Kerwood Road in Silver Spring on Sunday, 5/24 at 10:30 p.m. Attempted forced entry, none gained, nothing taken. Suspect: Male, light complexion I2 Beat: • A strong-arm robbery occurred on Thursday, 5/11 at approximately 9:07 p.m., in the area of Castle Boulevard and Teagarden Circle in Silver Spring. The 18-year-old victim fought with several known subjects and during the course the altercation, her book bag was snatched from her arm. • A residential burglary occurred on Monday, 5/18, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:43 p.m. in the 13900 block of Castle Boulevard in Silver Spring. No forced entry, property taken. • A residential burglary occurred on Tuesday, 5/19 between 7:40 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. in the 13900 block of Palmer House Way in Silver Spring. Forced entry, property taken. • A residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 5/20 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. in the 4400 block of Regalwood Terrace in Burtonsville. No forced entry, property taken. • A residential burglary occurred on Sunday, 5/24 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the 4400 block of Sandy Spring Road in Burtonsville. No forced entry, property taken. |
