*excludes stolen tags G1 Beat: • A sexual assault occurred in the 7500 block of Blair Mill Road in Silver Spring on Friday, 4/24 at 5:20 p.m. An adult female was chased and inappropriately touched by a suspect as she attempted to enter her apartment. The suspect followed the victim into the hallway where the assault took place. The suspect fled the building on foot after the victim screamed. Suspect: B/M 15-20 years, 5’6” - 5’8”, 150 lbs., dark clothing, carrying a red backpack. G2 Beat: • A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of Ellsworth Drive on Wednesday, 4/22 at approximately 10:00 a.m. The homeowner returned to his residence and found the suspect inside. The suspect then fled. Unknown type entry, nothing taken. Suspect: B/M 20-29, 6” - 6’2”, blue bandana covering face, carrying a blue backpack. • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 9000 block of Sligo Creek Parkway on Thursday, 4/23 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. attempted forced entry, no entry gained, nothing taken. H1 Beat: • An armed robbery occurred in the 8700 block of Arliss Street in Silver Spring on Sunday, 4/26 at 5:30 p.m. The adult male victim was approached by two suspects, one armed with a knife, who demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot. Suspects: (2) H/Ms 25-30 years, one armed with a knife H2 Beat: • An aggravated assault occurred in the area of Powder Mill Road and New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring on Sunday, 4/26 at approximately 11:13 p.m. A female victim was involved in a traffic dispute with another motorist. The suspect was armed with a weapon when he approached the victim at a red light. The victim fled in her vehicle. Suspect: W/M 5’7”- 5’9”, armed with a black semi-automatic weapon Vehicle: Black SUV with light blue tinted HID lights. • A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Mt. Pisgah Lane in Silver Spring on Tuesday, 4/21 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No signs of forced entry, property taken. • A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Kinsman View Circle in Silver Spring on Monday, 4/27 between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Forced entry, property taken. I1 Beat: • A residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring on Sunday, 4/26 at approximately 12:00 p.m. Suspect is known to the victim. No forced entry, property taken. Suspect: B/M 18 years, 5’5” • A residential burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Tanley Road on Monday, 4/27 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:37 p.m. Forced entry, property taken. I2 Beat: • A rape occurred at an unknown address on Greencastle Road in Silver Spring on Saturday, 4/25 between midnight and 3:00 a.m. The victim had been socializing with the suspects. After the assault, the suspects then drove the victim and her friend a restaurant. Suspect #1: H/M 19-20, 5’5” 140 lbs. Suspect #2: H/M 20-21, 5’8” 175 lbs. Suspect #3: H/M 19-20, 5’4” 125 lbs. • A commercial burglary occurred at the Chicken Basket located at 14452 Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring on Wednesday, 4/22 at 9:18 a.m. No forced entry, property taken. Suspect: B/M 20-25, 5’5”- 5’7”, 130-150 lbs., black mask, grey hooded sweatshirt • A strong-arm robbery/assault occurred on Wednesday, 4/29 between 3:10 and 3:33 a.m. in the area of Briggs Chaney Road and Avonshore Drive in Silver Spring. An adult male walking when he was approached by the suspects who demanded cash. When he refused, he was punched, knocked to the ground, and his pockets were searched. The suspects fled on foot after obtaining cash. Suspects: (4) B/Ms 20-23, 5’6”- 6”, 140-150 lbs. • A residential burglary occurred in the 14200 block of Angelton Terrace on Monday, 4/20 between 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Forced entry, property taken. • A residential burglary occurred in the 13900 block of Castle Boulevard in Silver Spring on Friday, 4/24 at 11:33 p.m. Forced entry, but suspect fled when the occupant yelled out. • A residential burglary occurred in the 14200 block of Castle Boulevard in Silver Spring on Sunday, 4/26 between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Attempted forced entry, nothing taken. • A commercial burglary occurred at Fehr’s Nursery located at 4340 Sandy Spring Road in Silver Spring on Monday, 4/27 at approximately 3:36 a.m. Forced entry, property taken. Suspect: W/M, baseball cap, wearing a striped shirt |
